Golf In The Garden Route
Kanonkop House enjoys membership at 2 championship Knysna golf courses, namely Pezula and Simola and as such offers discounted rates to play these majestic courses. We ourselves are avid golfers, and thus understand what it takes to arrange the perfect golfing experience. For guests' convenience, Kanonkop House will book and confirm t-times, carts and caddies at not only Pezula and Simola but all the other Garden Route golf courses.
Covering 254 hectares on the Knysna clifftops, the Pezula Championship Course has views of both the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean. Designed to include a full range of shots, it is challenging, rewarding and a complete golf experience for players of all levels. The average round takes 4 hours and 50 minutes, including a halfway break.

The course meanders along the impressive landscape high atop Simola hill. Unique to coastal courses, the wind is rarely a factor here. Boasting incredible views the course is demanding, but both enjoyable and challenging for seasoned and less experienced golfers alike. The course boasts five par 5 and five par 3 holes, with four tees to choose from.
